The Journal of the Ernest George White Society - the official
publication of the Society - is published once a year, usually
in February. White's Technique (Sinus Tone Production) began
more than 100 years ago at the end of the 19th century. Today
a Journal in honour of Ernest George White, its originator, is
published with the second millennium date on its cover - testament
to the lasting appeal of White's Technique.
The journal contains members' contributions to share their experience
and ideas and to record notable developments like the recognition
in law of the Society as an educational charity in 1965 and performances
like this among the events of 2000:
In a concert by the Dover Choral Society in
a well filled Connaught Hall on Saturday, 25th November four
of the soloists were versed in White's Technique. They
were Elizabeth Weaver and Jean Pearson (sopranos), pupils
of Arthur Hewlett, Peter Booth (tenor) a pupil of Elizabeth,
and Philip Spendley (bass), a pupil of Peter Giles. All sang
confidently and well to great acclaim.
Contributions to the Journal are always welcome and should be typed
in double-spacing before being sent to the Editor.
